Just some of the new things we will see in the December update include: a variety of new (SPNKr) Rocket Launchers, Battle of Noctus (new Warzone map), Overgrowth, Antifreeze, and Entombed (Arena maps), a ton of new REQs, and of course, Forge. Halo 5 Free For All (FFA) to move to 6 players.

FFA has been a hotly contested topic for many threads over the past while with opinions flying about on what makes FFS just right. Well the multiplayer team have been testing away “in order to get the experience just right.” With that in mind, some changes will be coming through in the December update before the January 2016 season. Halo Waypoint reports: “Halo 5 FFA will be moving to 6 players. This decision is not one that was taken lightly, and ultimately, it was decided that 6 player FFA gives players a bit more room to determine who’s the best on the battlefield.”

What do you think of the changes? Let us know how you feel in the comments below.

Rocket League coming to Xbox One in February 2016.

What does this have to do with Halo? Well last week Xbox announced that not only would Rocket League would be coming to Xbox One, it will be sporting the Halo Hogsticker!

Xbox One players will be able to tear up the pitch in February with all of the maps, features, and tweaks found in both the PC and PS4 versions. But as a bonus, players will get the “Hogsticker” (based on Halo’s Warthog).

The Xbox One version will launch at the universal price of $19.99, but will include three previously released DLC packs: Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run. You’ll be able to purchase the Back to the Future pack on day one.

The only potential drawback for some players is that the Xbox One version will not support cross-platform play. Those on PS4 and PC can join matches with one another. The Xbox One version is, like most multiplayer games, platform-specific.
